If you haven't heard of Wonder yet — you will soon. It's a food hall + delivery app hybrid that lets you order from 20+ restaurant concepts in a single order. Think Bobby Flay steakhouse, Di Fara Pizza from Brooklyn, José Andrés' Spanish kitchen, Marcus Samuelsson's Streetbird, and Michael Symon's Greek Chios Taverna — all in one delivery, delivered free within 35 minutes.
Each Boston location is a full brick-and-mortar space (not a ghost kitchen) where all food is cooked to order on-site. You can dine in, pick up, or get delivery. The key difference vs DoorDash: Wonder controls the entire experience from cooking to delivery, so food arrives hotter and fees are dramatically lower.
Wonder also owns Grubhub, so the app shows both Wonder's own chef menus and local Boston-area restaurants via Grubhub. The multi-restaurant ordering feature (mixing different cuisines in one order) only works with Wonder's own concepts, not Grubhub partners.
During the grand opening weeks, $1 from every order is being donated to the Greater Boston Food Bank. You can also round up your order total as a donation.
